Local Matters Digital is a digital marketing agency providing a full suite of internet marketing solutions such as paid search, website design and maintenance, mobile websites, targeted advertising, search engine optimization, and social media strategies to help small and mid-size business connect and engage with their best customers. 


We are searching for a dynamic multi-tasker to join our growing team.  The Digital Marketing Assistant is responsible for balancing on-going duties with new projects and deadlines for internal and outside clients. You will work with a variety of clients implementing social media strategies and support our dedicated sales staff and implementation team on a wide variety of digital marketing projects, such as researching, writing, sourcing and curating social content for business customers, updating and maintaining internal and client web pages,  writing newsletters, creating marketing materials, setting appointments and maintaining calendars and task lists for other digital staff, general office duties (filing, reporting, digital inventory tracking, etc) and other customer related communications and support. 


Qualified candidates will be experienced in creative writing, online marketing methods and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Google+, Pinterest, etc), social media management tools (Hootsuite and Edgar) and contesting (SecondStreet), WordPress (basic HTML knowledge is a plus), graphics/photo software (PhotoShop is ideal), and search engine optimization is preferred. Qualified candidates must also have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and good driving record, as there is some minimal travel to customer locations involved.
